The Mick Mulvihill Set.Mick Mulvihill came from North Kerry but lived most of his life in Enfield. He played the fiddle and was a founder member of the local branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. He often came to visit our session and regularly declared that we were "the best musicians in Ireland!"
We took this to mean that he was hoping a few of us would join him to play at some local ócáid, which we regularly did. In the late years we used to stand up as a mark of respect when Mick would ramble in. He would laugh and take it as a joke. Mick died on 25 Jan 2006 and we had the privilege of playing at his graveside.
This was the set we played as it was Mick's favourite.
